Have you got plans to refurbish your property? To clear your garden? To remove industrial waste from your company’s premises? As one of Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire leading skip hire companies, we provide you with the best possible skip hire service, for the best possible price.
Skips in the following sizes are available with us: 4yd³, 6yd³, 7yd³, 8yd³, 12yd³, 14yd³. Dependant on the materials you need taking away, drop-ends are available on the smaller sizes (4yd³, 6yd³, 7yd³, 8yd³, 12yd³, 14yd³), with enclosures available on the largest (12yd³).
In simple terms,a drop-end means that the end of the skip drops out—a handy feature for bulkier waste items.Instead of loading your items from the side, they can be loaded from the end via a ramp. This is great for wheelbarrow access, saving time, and reducing strain injury risk.
An enclosure is a caging coming up from the sides of the skip. For lighter waste (e.g., cardboard, plastic, etc.), this allows for greater capacity over one without an enclosure, which would fill up more quickly.
After you’ve worked out the most appropriate skip for your requirements (we’ll be able to talk you through your options during your quote), we’ll then arrange the location and most suitable time for delivery. We can offer delivery the next day, or even the same day if necessary, depending on when the skip was ordered, and where it’s being placed. If you need a permit for your street/premises, it’s possible this could take up to 7 days to arrange with your local authority.
Skips are most often hired for a couple of weeks, however, let us know how long or short a time slot you need during your quote and this can be tailored to your requirements.A ‘wait and load’ waste removal service is possible for more challenging locations, or more pressing time constraints.
By hiring a skip with us, you can be safe in the knowledge you’ll receive an efficient and reliable service right from the start, with your no obligation quote at the beginning, and the successful removal of your waste at the end.Check out our FAQs below for advice and information on which skip is best for your needs, more on how the process works, and what happens with your waste.
